The M-06 is the third rear-drive mini chassis from Tamiya and the first to break free of the narrow channel frame, transverse battery design. The M-06 places the motor at the rear and mounts the battery right down the centerline with a tub-style chassis to put as much weight on the driven tires as possible, while also keeping the center of gravity and polar moments of inertia low. Most M-chassis enthusiasts found the M-06 to deliver a dramatic improvement in driveability over the M-04, but not enough to compete against the FWD cars that rule the class.
Pros: Scale driving dynamics for bodies that represent RWD cars, easy hardcase LiPo fitment Cons: RWD limits braking, light front end experiences significant understeer
