A year after unveiling their first "mini" chassis, the front-motor, front-drive M-01, Tamiya filled another short-wheelbase niche by offering the M-02 platform for rear-drive vehicles. They went on to offer two new versions with progressively longer wheelbases, dubbed the 'M' and 'L' models.
Pros: Fun, fast, realistic RWD driving experience, simple, well-protected drivetrain Cons: Monoshock setup with centering springs limited tuning options.
